Meade Sings

A lot of folks have been wondering where I have been. I am in the process of getting a lot of stuff done at home and taking care of my father who is 83 years old. But I am still writing some new songs and lately I've been playing away at the autoharp and other instruments! I have abandoned most forms of social media, but you can find me on GAB - the fine alternative  to "twitter". GAB allows free speech! I'm Rvabread on there. And I'll be working on some new music and music videos this year. I plan on releasing my Christmas album either on vinyl or Compact Disc. Can't decide yet, maybe both! It all depends on finances. Hey, Y'all! My Ebay store   (vasinger24) will be auctioning off many items, including personal items worn by yours truly, such as the white sports coat I adorned in my "Sweet Tea" music video! What a glorious Christmas this has turned out to be! I was worried because Daddy had broken his arm and is recovering still from surgery. We got a smaller tree , a smaller dinner, and decorations. Yet, somehow I found that Christmas spirit more so than in recent years. Maybe its because Donald Trump is in the White House this year! We can say "Merry Christmas" again, Y'all! I went to Christmas Eve services last night at both the Baptist and Episcopal churches. This Christmas I got a Nintendo set! I've been wanting one for a long time. It brings back childhood memories. I can't wait to play Castlevania and Metroid ! The Nintendo games will help inspire new songs in me. Here are some pictures of yours truly. Merry Christmas to all my fans!

Hello! Christmas is a month away, but I am already working on a Christmas special for youtube. It will be called "The Meade Skelton Christmas Special". I think that has a nice ring to it, don't you? I will be doing several Christmas songs in the show and be keeping it more about the real meaning and spirit of Christmas. I believe people need some uplifting entertainment in these our troubled times. This Christmas, I plan to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, regardless of political affiliation! I have a few gigs lined up in December, but mainly I am taking a break to catch up on other projects before the end of the year. This year has certainly been fairly good to me. I got a new job at the Chick-fil-A as the Cow Mascot, which I have done before. It doesn't pay much, but at least its an acting gig! I can call it creative promotions. I like to do all kinds of things at Christmas, so I'll be right busy. Look for my Christmas show on Youtube in a few weeks time.

A song more associated with the 4th of July, but I think a lot of these Patriotic songs are fitting for Thanksgiving. I am very proud and thankful to be an American. A REAL American !
