Back In The Studio Again

Hey Y'all!
Today is the last Day of Christmas, and so I decided to a little update .I was back in the studio yesterday  to record to finish up the first half off my next album "Coffeeshop Country". I am right thrilled about that! So many wonderful new songs that I have. Not all of them are written by yours truly, but they seemed to just speak to me on so many various levels. I will also have a few new singles out for digital downloads. I always look forward to the opportunity to record more stuff. I don't want to bombard people with too much at once. Its a definite marketing strategy to release things just at the right time. When folks need them the most. For the past 4 years, I have been recording all of my stuff at Mininum Wage Recording Studio in Richmond. Its located in Oregon Hill, and the owner Lance is really amicable and helps me get the best take on all the songs. So, I hope this next record will come out by the fall of this year.

Now that the Christmas Season will be officially over on Monday, January 6th, please feel free to check out my Christmas EP I have out called "Christmas Joy". There are seven songs on it, with one original (Christmas Joy), and just me and a grand piano. I wanted a very intimate sound on this, and I think it worked! Many people say they just love my  version of " O Holy Night". It brings them to tears. I hope that is in a good way! I also got to appear on WRIR FM radio again in Richmond for their "Holiday Extravaganza program. I did some Christmas numbers and it was all truck loads of fun.  Since today is the last day of Christmas, I leave you all with my rendition of "Mary's Boy Child". Thanks for reading, and Happy New Year!
